My name is Nersing aka @gamersgags, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent countless hours scouring the wastes, duking it out with Psychos, and desperately searching for that perfect drop.
Who Am I, and Why Borderlands?
My journey through the Borderlands universe began way back with my brother who introduced me to Borderlands 2, and I’ve been hooked ever since. From grinding out The Perfect Unkempt Harolds to theory-crafting optimizing Fl4k (Beastmaster) Fade Away Crit Damage Build for FL4K in Borderlands 3″, this franchise has been a constant source of mayhem and joy for me.
I’ve logged thousands of hours across all the main titles and DLCs, delving deep into the mechanics, uncovering every secret, and perfecting strategies to help fellow Vault Hunters dominate. My passion for Borderlands isn’t just about playing; it’s about dissecting the game, understanding its intricate systems, and sharing that knowledge to empower others.
My Gaming Setup
I love portability but I want maximum performance. Both of which come at a cost that I humbly just cannot afford. However, I am not the type of gamer who only enjoys games that brings frames.
For me, gaming at 60 fps to 90 fps is just fine and my Lenovo Legion 5 has been with me for over 3 years now.
Its packed with:
- Core i7
- RTX 3060 with 6 GB of dedicated graphics
- 32 GB of RAM
- 2 TB of SSD
With this setup, I get 60+ fps at medium to high settings which is enough for me to enjoy the game. There is no lags and the SSD boots up the game pretty fast.
Would I upgrade to 50 series RTX gaming laptops or even consider getting a full rigged gaming PC? – Not quite and not very soon!
If I have money to burn, I’ll probably hunt for a 4080 or a 4090 and I think thats pretty ambitious!.
